Here's What That Means For You
DNA Genetic Testing
Every parent dog receives a full DNA panel to ensure they are not carriers of serious inherited diseases.
We test for:
- Eye diseases
- Nerve diseases
- Blood clotting disorders
- Kidney conditions
- IVDD (a common back condition in small breeds)
This helps ensure our puppies are healthy from the inside out.
OFA Health Testing
The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) evaluates the parents’:
- Hips (to help prevent joint issues later in life)
- Knees (patella health)
Heart - Eyes (examined by a board-certified specialist)
These tests confirm that our breeding dogs have strong joints, healthy hearts, and clear eyes.
